design

The basic design for the site was done by can design; with the only requirement being “use our logo.”

process

The original design was mocked-up in Illustrator, then added as the background image of the development site. With that in place I coded the HTML and CSS from scratch to exactly match with the mocked-up background image. Javascript effects were then added to lend a bit of dynamism.

result

The result is a site with obvious navigational choices and the most important information presented to the browser immediately.
